Let’s get to what synthetic urine is and the recipe if you are ready and really want the challenge to give it a go on your own.

What Fake Pee is and How to Make it

One more time, we don’t recommend using synthetic urine that has not been made by a reputable company, but we are going to tell you what it is, why it exists in the first place and how to create it yourself if you really need to.

Synthetic urine is a mix of liquid and multiple components that are found in normal human urine, minus DNA or toxins.

Therefore, properly made synthetic urine needed to perfectly match the chemical components of human urine.

Properly pre-made products, like Quick Fix 6.2 Plus, have the components needed, the look and the smell that matches real urine, allowing it to pass for real pee more readily. Making your own fake urine has a high potential of not making the cut.

How Do You Make a Fake Urine Sample?

Alright, what you’ve been waiting for: The recipe for DIY synthetic urine. The ingredients below should get you a pretty good fake pee. What you see below is similar to the ingredients that you would find in professionally made synthetic urine products.

Ingredients:

  • 0.75 liters of distilled water
  • 33 oz of 0.02 M HCl solution
  • 1.9ml of 25% v/v solution of ammonia
  • 14.1g [Sodium Chloride]
  • 2.8g KCl [Potassium Chloride]
  • 17.3g urea
  • 0.6g CaCl2 [Calcium Chloride]
  • 0.43g MgSO4 [Magnesium Sulfate]

Before you get started, ensure you have a good kitchen scale. If you are trying to make passable synthetic urine, you need to have the tools required to play kitchen chemist, or you might as well scrap the whole idea and just buy a good product.

Let’s assume that you were able to get the ingredients listed above and you have a good kitchen scale and a 40 oz container with a suitable sealing cap. The “putting it all together” needs to be as precise as possible.

  1. Measure all of the dry ingredients (Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Urea, Calcium Chloride, Magnesium Sulfate) as accurately as possible, and put them into the 40 oz container.
  2. Start adding the wet ingredients. The last liquid component, to add, will be the 0.02 M HCl solution. Add the HCl solution slowly, while continuously mixing your solution. This solution is going to determine the color of your fake pee, and you may not need to use all of it. When the color of your synthetic urine looks good to you, you have used enough.
  3. When you have completed step 2, you are done. Cover your container and store it in a place where it will not be exposed to extreme temperature changes or direct sunlight. It should keep for a while.
  4. Make sure that the specimen is at the correct temperature.

The above DIY synthetic urine recipe may seem quite simple. You may be thinking, “I can do this,” and you may be able to pull off a passable product. But remember, only a few people, learning how to make artificial urine at home, can create a product that can match professionally made synthetic urine.

You might even have all the ingredients correct and it all looks great but if the containers of equipment that you used in the process of making it aren’t correctly sterilised then bacteria could appear and ruin it.

While you might think that you can save costs by obtaining all these ingredients yourself, you will likely have to buy them in bulk so any savings will be negligible or not at all.

On a personal level if I was asked to add all these ingredients like distilled water, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, urea and the rest to make fake urine I’d be guaranteed a fail!

Chris Wilder spent many years working as a part-time phlebotomist, [and yes he knows all the vampire jokes] while honing his writing skills. In 2017 he gave up playing around with blood to become a full-time writer. While dealing with blood might seem a cold and analytical vocation, his role of phlebotomist required dealing with nervous patients who needed plenty of empathy and compassion, Chris has carried this over to his written work. He believes that Quick Fix Synthetic products are the best chance of success. With his wide knowledge in this field and his understanding of how urine drug tests can affect the lives of everyday people like you and me, Chris can explain in layman's turns all the important information you need to know. In his free time, he likes to hang out with friends and check out local bands drinking a glass or two of his favorite Makers Mark Bourbon, while enjoying a recreational smoke. To keep himself in shape he takes extremely short walks with Lola, his incredibly lazy pet pug.
