A Smell Proof Stash Box That Doesn’t Look Like One
Ever noticed how most stash boxes give themselves away fairly obviously? With bulky zippers, an obvious storage container shape, and hardware that looks like it belongs on a safe, they are anything but discreet.
This smell proof stash box is different. From the outside, it reads as an ordinary makeup or utensil bag, the kind that sits on a shelf without anyone paying any attention to it. But it’s on the inside where the clever stuff happens.
A charcoal-lined interior traps odor before it reaches the zipper, while a combination lock built into that same zipper means the only person who can open it is the person who set the code. You, in other words. You choose your own number and reset it whenever you like.
Organized compartments keep things from sliding around inside, so it functions as more than a secure sealed box. It’s a small and rather ingenious piece of storage that happens to also keep odor and curious hands out. Available in black or heather grey, the smell proof stash box with lock is easily durable enough for daily use, and built to travel without falling apart after a few trips.
Why Use a Smell Proof Stash Box?
Because a drawer keeps things out of sight, but doesn’t keep them out of smell. And it definitely doesn’t keep them out of reach of anyone who opens it. A smell proof stash box solves both problems in one move, which is a big part of why people upgrade from just hiding it somewhere to something built for the job.
People use a stash box like this for all sorts of everyday reasons, including:
✔️ Cigars, cigarettes, and tobacco
✔️ Vapes and vaping accessories
✔️ Medications that need to stay private and secure
✔️ Fragrances and cosmetics
✔️ Fine jewelry
✔️ Small utensils and tools
✔️ Various other things that need to be kept away from prying eyes.
The lock is what turns this from a nice-smelling box into an actually secure one, while the odor control on its own stops noses. Odor control paired with a lock stops hands too, and that really counts for a lot in a shared apartment, or anywhere else you don’t fully control who else is nearby.
Built for Wherever It Ends Up
At home, it sits well on a shelf, in a drawer, or on a nightstand, doing its job effortlessly without demanding a hidden spot behind other things. The compact size means it doesn’t take over the space it’s in, and the exterior holds up to daily handling without looking worn after a few weeks.
On the move, it works just as well. Just slide the smell proof stash box with lock into a carry-on, a backpack, or a bigger suitcase, and the durable build means it survives being tossed in with everything else.
It’s small enough that most people pack it without a second thought about where it will fit, or slots neatly inside something larger like the smell proof backpack for longer trips.
👉 If you already keep a bottle of Quick Fix Plus somewhere secure, this box gives it a home that’s actually built for the job, private, contained, and locked until you decide otherwise.
How the Lock Works
Setting your own combination takes less time than finding a pen.
- Start with the dials on the default setting (0-0-0).
- Press and hold the small reset button until it clicks.
- While holding the button, turn the dials to your new combination.
- Release the button. Your code is now set.
- Close and reopen the lock once to confirm it holds before you rely on it.
Keep your combination somewhere other than inside the box itself. A lock is only useful if you can still get into it later.

A Few Things Worth Knowing
A lock keeps casual hands out, but it’s not designed to stop someone determined enough to force it open, and no stash box on the market can claim to do so. Remember, this is a privacy layer and a deterrent, not an unbreakable vault with six inch steel walls. If you would rather trade the lock for something slimmer to carry day to day, our smell proof cross body bag relies on a dedicated odor-control pocket instead.
The charcoal lining does exactly what it’s built to do though, and if you spot a small amount of black residue inside, that’s the carbon technology at work, not a defect.
As with any storage product, use good judgment about what you keep in it and where you keep it. Local laws vary, and it’s on you to know them. Either way, we would never encourage or advocate for anyone to use the smell proof stash box for hiding illegal items.
